Vivek Kundra is spear heading the intermixing of Web 2.0 and the current Administration. This initiative was coined Gov 2.0 and was solidified in the recent introductory Gov 2.0 Summit as a new way for government and constituents to communicate and share information. He wishes the Federal government Information Technology efforts of applying private sector platforms will be motivating factors to the capable dissemination and subsequent usage of information.
Vivek Kundra is well-known for his readiness when it comes to cloud computing. He believes cloud computing could improve information sharing among Federal, state and local bureaus. Vivek Kundra views cloud computing as a important opportunity to remake IT infrastructures within and between Federal government bodies. Vivek Kundra works to make smart use of the Information Technology budget under his command and to use taxpayer dollars wisely.
